Jets vs. Bills timing, odds, prediction, keys, TV, NFL live stream: New York debut for Aaron Rodgers on 'MNF'

Week 1's last game of the 2023 NFL season pits the Jets against the division foe Bills. In their first game under Aaron Rodgers, the Jets will face one of their biggest tests of the season as they try to improve on their first two seasons under Robert Saleh.

Each team lost a coordinator this offseason, including the Jets and Bills. Nathaniel Hackett replaced Mike LaFleur as offensive coordinator in New York, while Sean McDermott took over defensive play-calling after Leslie Frazier left.

He completed 34 of 61 throws (55.7%) for 352 yards (5.8) per attempt, one touchdown, and two interceptions. It's worth noting that his elbow injury that bothered him over.

the second half of the season occurred on the final drive of that first game, but his performance wasn't out of character for a quarterback playing against the Jets, and he only went 18 of 34 for 205 yards and two picks.

Allen wasn't under duress much (30.7% of his dropbacks, per TruMedia), but the Jets converted that pressure into sacks: They sacked Allen eight times on 23 pressured dropbacks.

New York thoroughly shut down the deep part of the field, allowing only three 20-yard completions despite Allen's incredible 10.4 air yards per attempt. (He averaged 9.1 per attempt against all teams this season.)

The Bills strengthened their offense this offseason to avoid performances like those. O'Cyrus Torrence was drafted and Connor McGovern was signed from the Cowboys to play guard.
