This Banana Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake is a delightful twist on banana bread. Coffee cake with walnuts, chocolate chips, and brown sugar cinnamon filling won't disappoint!

Prepare a 10-inch angel food cake pan with cooking spray. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, walnuts, and chocolate chips in a large bowl.

Mash bananas with a fork or potato masher in another medium bowl. Whisk in sour cream, eggs, applesauce, vanilla, and granulated sugar.

Mix the wet ingredients with the flour in the bowl with a spatula. Mix the filling ingredients in another small dish.

Place ⅓ of the batter in the cake pan. After adding ⅓ of the filling to the batter, continue twice more to finish the batter and filling.

Bake the cake pan for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

After letting the cake cool in the pan for ten minutes, take it out and let it cool further on a wire rack.
